Is very difficult to put a label on FVNERALS music. By the time you want to realize it, the apparent minimalism ends shrouding your soul with a thick and icy mist. Gloomy, droney at times, with the soul and pacing of doom metal but the delicacy of post rock, this album is a dark and haunting piece of art.

Wonderful album, so haunting and hypnotising. Due to this the tracks deserved to be way longer. I would absolutely love to hear more of this. In darkness let me dwell!

This album is a different beast compared to their first effort, 'The Light'. Guitar ripping is more present and voice is even more haunting and ethereal, making this album more intimidating and less subtle. If that is a good or bad thing, it depends on the taste of the listener. As their previous record, this is a downward spiral into the abyss, diving deep through the darkness.
